The anticipation of changing my business was exciting and scary at the same time, but I needed a change and with my journey to self discovery I decided to go for it. I owned a photography business called Iulianella Photography for 23 years, I graduated as a fine art student and began shooting weddings and portraits to gain experience and start working as a photographer, I wanted to learn how to incorporate what I knew as an artist to what I needed to do to start earning an income therefore merging my creative energy and customer satisfaction into my work. This at times was easy but also very challenging, but with a new found confidence, inspiration and an abundance of ideas, my desire to change direction and incorporate my creative energy is stronger than ever before.
PHOTOMI is born!

There were several steps I needed to do to Change My Business Name. They are:
1. Discussing my options and ideas with friends and family, this is important to start thinking of ideas, and I arranged an appointment with Marketing Entourage,

a client of mine for some ideas and guidance. This started the ball rolling.
2. Came up with a new business name that people could identify instantly with.
3. Registered my business name and my Domain Name. I still used my original ABN
4. Made an appointment with my graphics designer from Designer Graphics Studio to discuss Logo and website design. Here I started to feel this is really happening.
5. Mary designed my logo and printed some business cards, and the excitement begins.
6. I prepared my photographs and content for my Website which was also exciting but also consuming.
7. While my website was underway I made contact with some old customers and contacted some new businesses to prepare them for my launch. 8. Organised a profile pic for my editorials

9. Published my website through WIX to go live
10. Created a Facebook and Instagram Page and launched my Photography Business PHOTOMI
Photomi is alive and active.
The feeling of excitement was just the beginning. The idea to change my business name involved a long process of self development. I have learnt to dream again while still living in the present moment. Finding the balance of what you really want in life while living in the present moment is important and for me one of the keys to success. The beginning of a new decade for Photomi. If you have the passion and the drive just "GO FOR IT"
